Looking west near Pelican Key in Buttonwood Sound toward Florida Bay are some
afternoon thunderstorms that are "draining" over the bay. These fleeting "waterfalls"
can provide a wonderful cooling event on a hot summer day.

The scene reflects my view of an imaginary tropical cove where friends can play.

Pineapples were the first agricultural product from Key Largo and their image represents the
"welcome symbol" to visitors.
