Distances given are the estimated length of the round trip.  Elevation change reflects the difference between the high and the low point on the hike.  Due to ups and downs, the actual amount of climb will almost always be greater than the actual elevation change. Due to unanticipated trail conditions, any hike can turn out to be more difficult than it is described.  Even "Easy" hikes involve risks that are greater than just going for a walk.  Please read our Hiking Hints and come prepared.

Those not wearing hiking boots will not be allowed to hike with our group. The hiking trails in our area have numerous hazards and it is too big a risk of injury to hike without hiking boots.
