Tucker Garrison

Woodturner

Bird's Nest

Tucker Garrison is a wood artist from the mountains of western North Carolina. Inspiration for Tucker's work comes from various areas including plant life, sea life, and architecture. He is currently exploring open hollow forms as well as forms inspired by seed pods and sea coral. Tucker plans to continue to explore new forms that include turning, carving, and surface embellishment.

Another of Tucker's woodturning passions is teaching woodturning.  He teaches adults and children in his studio and at various woodturning venues.

His work has been included in the American Association of Woodturners and the Wood Turning Center juried and invitational exhibits. Tucker is a member of the AAW Professional Outreach Program and is President of Carolina Mountain Woodturners.
