Obviously, this page is left over from my Michigan State days, which is where I began an independent website. I'd always taught with computers, from my earliest days at Alabama (not by choice at that time!), but had used course management software, specifically Norton Textra Connect. I finally started to need to have course materials available continuously, not recreated on a course by course basis, and voila. I can't remember where I found this quilt background image--I was not very technologically savvy at the time (am I now?), so probably found it online. At the time, I was using the wonderful quilt collection at Michigan State 's Museum to teach Women in America. Please pardon the giant wide display here, by the way. I did want to be able to really see the old pages…
