Your USC Username & Password |
All students at any USC campus need a network username and password. You set this for the first time in VIP (Visual Information Processing); you can also log into VIP again to reset your password if you forget it. You will use your USC network username and password to log into Blackboard and University Webmail). 
- Login to VIP: http://vip.sc.edu.
Your USC identification number is your social security number.
- Click on the Technology tab
- Click on Show Me Network Username
- Your USC Network Username will be displayed and you will be prompted to choose your password. Please be sure to read the instructions about the type of password you should enter first. Once you've chosen a password, you must type it twice to verify your spelling. I recommend that you write down your username; these are often difficult to remember at first (but don't write down your password!).
- Click on the SET PASSWORD button to set your new password. You should be able to log into the campus network, Blackboard, and the university email in just minutes.
Forget your PIN? Please visit your campus' Admissions or Registrar's Office with a picture id to have PIN numbers reset.
